Bohol Vice Governor Rene Relampagos responded to questions about his whereabouts on Facebook.

Relampagos hasn’t been seen in public for almost three months.

His disappearance led to many theories about his well-being.

After a suspicious three-month absence from all public appearances, Relampagos resurfaced Monday, May 18, with a post that responded to questions about his whereabouts. He even posted a photo of himself.

“Dear Friends and my Bol-anon Family,

An update-
By God’s Grace, I am fine now after undergoing surgery.

Unfortunately, with the COVID lockdown, I am unable to return yet from the US.

Thank you for your kind understanding and prayers for continued good health.

Let’s stay safe and healthy.
Amping kanunay!

God bless,
Vice Gov Rene”

Relampago’s last appearance at a public event was in February during the start of the pandemic.
