Wedding of the New Decade

finally tied the knot in a grand wedding held Thursday afternoon, February 20, 2020, at the Our Lady of Immaculate Concepcion Church in Baclayon town.

The church suddenly became the center of the world for Caindec and Montero, and invited guests who came to witness what was dubbed the “Wedding of the New Decade” in Bohol.

The guests included the who’s who of the country.

Even Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Archie Francisco Gamboa and his wife Madame Rozanne, one of Davao’s best and also the close friend of the bride, took time out to attend the wedding as one of the principal guests of honor.

Other principal sponsors present were Atty. Manases Reyes Carpio and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio (represented by Bohol 2nd district First Lady Ma. Vanessa Cadorna-Aumentado), Sen. Christopher Laurence “Bong” Go (represented by Tagbilaran Mayor John Geesnell Yap), Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia, OPAV Sec. Michael Lloyd Dino and Kristine Marie Dino, Police Maj. Gen. Noli Taliño and Mary Jean Taliño, Bohol Gov. Arthur Yap and wife Carolyn Yap, Manuel Velayo and Teresita Velayo, Dir. Miguelito Payo, Beverly Pato, Jose Ariston Caslib, Dauis Mayor Marietta Sumaylo, Alfonso Louis Chuseuy and Christina Ann Chuseuy, Allan Lim and Maila Lim, Justin Sy Uy, Ma. The reception was held at past 6 p.m. at the Bellevue Resort in Panglao, where more of the newlywed couple’s friends were invited. There were reportedly 1,000 invited guests.

The bride is the daughter of Panglao Mayor Leonila and Ondo Montero, while the groom is the son of Land Transportation Office Region 7(LTO-7) director Victor Caindec.

Guests cheered as the couple sealed their marriage with a kiss.
