The Department of Health (DOH) has released a new data revealing that the number of persons under investigation (PUI) for the 2019-novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease has now rose to 267.
The number rose because of the 103 PUIs now recorded in the National Capital Region (NCR) from the 73 PUIs reported yesterday.

In Central Visayas, the current number of PUIs still remains at 16.
Dr. Jaime Bernadas, regional director of DOH Center for Health Development in Central Visayas (DOH-CHD 7), in a separate press conference on Friday explained that all reports of PUIs must always be vetted by its Central Office before it becomes official.
When asked on the official number of PUIs for Bohol province, Bernadas said it still remains at one.
However, he said that they have already submitted the report in relation to the additional people in isolation for showing symptoms of the 2019-nCoV ARD.
“Please rely on data released by the DOH,” he told reporters.
