Bohol Wisdom School cancels classes on Friday as ‘precautionary measure’

The Bohol Wisdom School (BWS) suspended classes on Friday, February 7, 2020, to conduct disinfection inside the school premises as part of its precautionary measures. This announcement was shared by the school’s official Facebook page on Thursday evening following the misinformation that circulated online and through text messages about students who were positive of the 2019- novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (2019-nCoV ARD).”There is no truth behind the news that there are BWS students who are positive of such virus,” it said in a statement.They further pleaded to the public to be responsible for what they post and share.”Let us all be responsible in spreading and receiving information especially in social media,” the statement of the school read.Classes at BWS will resume on Monday, February 10, 2020.
