A high value target (HVT) at the provincial level and his two cohorts were arrested by Tagbilaran police in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday afternoon, January 21.
Police arrested the suspect Roy Asis, 48, a resident of V. P. Inting Avenue, Barangay Mansasa, Tagbilaran City.
Asis’ companions identified as Cjay Pizaret and Kevin Caunsag were also arrested.
Police Lt. Col. Oscar Boyles, chief of Tagbilaran City Police Station, Asis was known to be an HVT at the provincial level for selling illegal drugs.
Seizes from the suspects were small sachets of suspected shabu worth P40,800.
In Getafe town, three tricycle drivers were arrested by the operatives of the Getafe police on Tuesday afternoon.
Police identified the suspects as Eduardo Travero, 36, a resident of Barangay Saguise; Dennis Reloba, 27, a resident of Barangay Tulang; and Aljon Turtoga, 27, a resident of Barangay Cangmundo.
They were arrested by Getafe Police Drug Enforcement Unit led by Police Captain Benicer Rico Tamboboy, chief of police.
Seized from the suspects were two small strips of suspected shabu worth P1,000.
The suspects are now detained pending the filing of the case for violation of Section 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 and R.A. 10591.
