The “Kulturang Panglaoanon” from Panglao, Bohol recently bagged three awards in the recently concluded Sinulog 2020 Grand Parade.

Panglao placed 4th in the Sinulog-based category of this year’s ritual showdown and the street dancing competition.

It also placed second for “Best in Musicality”.

Kulturang Panglaoanon will receive a total cash prize of P650,000.

The Sinanduloy Cultural Troupe of Tangub City, Misamis Occidental bagged the first prize in the Sinulog-based category, while Lumad Basakanon bagged the first prize in the Free Interpretation category.

Tangub also won in the street dancing competition.

At least 30 contingents, which include those from out-of-town, participated for the Sinulog Grand Parade 2020 which culminated on Sunday, January 19, 2020.
