Bohol native with P5.7 million shabu arrested in Cebu City

A former security guard was arrested in a buy-bust operation in SRP in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City on Saturday night, January 4, 2020.

Police Major Randy Caballes, head of the Cebu City Police Intelligence Branch, identified the suspect Jhonrey Balolong, 36, a native of Bien Unido town in Bohol province.

Caballes said Balolong is operating his illegal drug trade in southern Cebu.

Seized from Balolong were big sachets of suspected shabu weighed 800 grams with an estimated value of P5.7 million.

DSWD-7 and NFA-7 delivers Japan-donated rice to Bohol, Cebu

The Department of Social Welfare and Development-Central Visayas (DSWD-7) through the Disaster Response Management Division, in partnership with the National Food Authority (NFA-7), delivers 6,666 sacks of Japan-donated rice to identified local government units in the Province of Bohol and Cebu in the entire month of May 2022.
