The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said today, Wednesday, Dec. 25, electricity was back in Bohol province.
According to an advisory sent by NGCP, the grid power from Leyte has been restored.
Bohol had experience power interruption on Christmas eve.
Christmas Eve Masses held in different churches in Bohol were slightly interrupted.
Electricity was back at 2 a.m in some parts of Bohol.
The unscheduled power interruption was caused by line trippings in Leyte and Samar areas due to typhoon Ursula. Grid protection systems automatically activated due to significant grid disturbance.
