A man was injured after he was struck by lightning in the sea waters off Panglao on Tuesday afternoon.
Dauis residents Kenneth Montalban, 26, and his father went fishing when the lightning struck and fatally hit the younger Montalban.
The incident happened around 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.
The incident came amid lightning storms that hit Panglao Island on Tuesday afternoon.
Montalban, who sustained injuries on both shoulders and back, was brought to Gov. Celestino Gallares Hospital for treatment.
