2 Boholanos in SEA Games 2019: 2 golds

Boholano athletes played a huge role in the country’s historic finish in the 30th South East Asian (SEA) Games.

They have contributed a total of 2 gold medals in the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEAG), which will have its closing ceremonies on Wednesday afternoon, December 11, 2019, at the New Clark City (NCC) Athletics Stadium.

Diana Bühler (Obstacle Course Racing Mixed Team Relay 400-meters) and Anfernee Lopena (4×100 meter mixed relay team) won gold medals.

Dave Lloyd Pacaldo (Tagbilaran City), Elien Rose Perez (Tagbilaran City) were 4th place, just one point to get the bronze medal.

Other athletes were Emmanuel Comendador (San Miguel), Ronnie Malipay (Trinidad), Anfernee Lopena (Tagbilaran) and Rian Marco Tirol (Tagbilaran City).

The Philippines is the overall championship in the 30th Southeast Asian Games with 385 medals-149 golds, 117 silvers, and 119 bronzes.

The closing ceremony is on Wednesday, Dec.11, at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium at 4 p.m.
