SIBLINGS SHOT BY UNKNOWN SUSPECTS

Police are still investigating the shooting incident involving gunmen on board a motorcycle who killed a woman and injured her brother in Clarin town.
The victims, identified as Mark Jason Bautista, 31, and his sister Nalyn, 29, were heading home on board their motorcycle when two gunmen opened fire at them while traversing the road in Barangay Bogtongbod, Clarin at past 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4.
Mark was shot at the back causing him to lose control of their motorcycle. He and his sister Nalyn stumbled on the road. Although he was hurt, he was able to hide from these gunmen. Unfortunately, he was unable to help his sister as the suspects shot her several times. She later died of gunshot wounds.
The killers then sped off, according to at least two witnesses who were nearby.
Mark was rushed to a community hospital but he was later transferred to Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital in Tagbilaran for further treatment.
The suspects are still at large at present.
