Two graduates from a state university and a municipal college in Bohol province landed in the top 10 list of the September 2019 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

Sandro Sobiono Anto, a graduate of the Buenavista Community College landed in the Top 8 of LET for the elementary level with an average of 90.20%.

Meanwhile, Mariz Balaba Tadle, a summa cum laude graduate of the Bohol Island State University (formerly CVSCAFT) -Tagbilaran landed in the Top 10 of LET for the secondary level with an average of 90.6%. Tadle, who hails from Sierra Bullones town, was among of the 29 passers in the 10th spot.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), which released the official results on Sunday (December 1, 2019), 28,973 elementary teachers out of 92,440 examinees (31.34%) and 54,179 secondary teachers out of 136,523 examinees (39.68%) successfully passed the LET.

It is further announced that of the 28,973 elementary teacher passers, 24,066 are first timers and 4,907 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 48,447 passers are first timers and 5,732 are repeaters.

The exams were held on September 29, 2019 at testing centers in Manila, Cebu, and Davao.
