Ariel Agta Bantugan, a graduate of the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) at Bohol Island State University-Main Campus (BISU MC) topped the August 2019 Special Professional Licensure Examination for Civil Engineers.
CEA is headed by Engr. Julius Castro.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Thursday, September 12, that 61 out of 313 passed the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination given in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al-Khobar, KSA; Abu Dhabi, UAE; Doha, Qatar; Al Ahmadi, Kuwait; and Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain last August 12 and 13, 2019.
Bantugan, who hailed from Alburquerque town, made it to the first place with 86.20 percent.

Meanwhile, the BISU Electrical Engineering ranked 5th for the best performing schools in the recently concluded Electrical Engineering Licensure Examination marking a near-perfect passing rate of 94.52 percent.
Out of 73 examinees, 69 passed the examinations from BISU Main Campus, Tagbilaran City, according to results released by the PRC last September 6, 2019.
