A teenager was hospitalized after getting struck by a stray bullet during a barangay disco in Danao town.
Police said an 18-year-old man was shot once in his leg above his knee past midnight on Monday while he attended a disco in Barangay Sta. Fe in Danao town.
Junrel Macalandag, a resident of Barangay San Carlos in Danao, said he didn’t realize he had been shot until he saw blood in his leg.
The victim told police he didn’t know who shot him or even where the suspect was when he got hit by the bullet.
He was brought to a hospital in Tagbilaran for treatment.
Police are still investigating the incident.
