Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell “Baba” Yap is offering a reward money for those who can report an illegal dumper.

On his Facebook post on Tuesday, Yap said P3,000 reward money will be given for those who can make a report with hard evidence (picture and video) for untimely trash.

The city had released the schedules of garbage collection after it resumed normal operations on Monday, November 25.

However, there are still who illegally dump their wastes and don’t follow trash schedule.

The “reporting” will start on Tuesday, Nov. 26 until November 30, 2019.

He said the report is confidential.

Witnesses can message on his verified Facebook page.

Garbage piled up in the streets of Tagbilaran City after the dumpsite in Barangay Dampas was closed by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) last week.
