A “habal-habal” (motorcycle-for-hire) driver was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City on Wednesday night.
Romeo Penaso, 40, of Barangay Poblacion 2 in Tagbilaran City, was collared by the agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Bohol and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Bohol in an operation conducted at B. Inting Extension, Poblacion 2 at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6.
Recovered from him were two plastic sachets of suspected shabu, P1,000 marked money, and a cellphone.
NBI said Penaso used lotto tickets where the small sachets were pasted at the back as a disguise that his customers are just betting for lotto.
