At least one person was reported dead while 43 others were injured after a magnitude 6.6 earthquake that shook Northern Mindanao on Tuesday morning.
National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported that
Nestor Narciso, 66, a resident of Koronadal City, succumbed to massive injuries.
Thirty people were reported injured in Kidapawan City and 13 others in M’lang, Cotabato.
Twenty-three local government units have also suspended classes , the NDRRMC added.

7 classrooms collapsed.
2 classrooms totally damaged.
197 pupils affected.
5 injured (2 are in the hospital, 3 given first aid).
8 teachers affected. 2 are bruised. 1 pregnant.
