A total of P10.3 million worth of suspected shabu was seized in two separate buy-bust operations in Tagbilaran City on Sunday.
Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) Director Police Col. Jonathan Cabal led the operations conducted by the Provincial Intelligence Branch, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PIB-PDEU) and Tagbilaran City Police Station.
The law enforcement team was able to capture Eva Marie Osiones, 44, a resident of New Hampshire, Lindaville Phase 1, Tiptip, Tagbilaran City, at around 1 p.m.
Seized from Osiones was a sachet weighed 300 grams with an estimated value of P102,000.
This was followed by another arrest of Cogon resident Alan Ben Caberte, a drug dealer identified by police as a level 2 high-value target (HVT) in the province.
This happened at 3 p.m. at Belderol Street in Barangay Cogon.
Seized from the possession of Caberte were 12 pieces of extra large packs of suspected shabu that weighed 1.5 kilos with an estimated value of P10,200,000.
According to Col. Cabal, Osiones works for Caberte in the illegal drug trade in Tagbilaran City and other towns.
Both will face a charge for violating Republic Act 9165.
