Veteran actor Eddie Garcia has passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 4:55pm. He was 90.
His family has yet to issue an official statement.
The latest medical bulletin released today by Makati Medical Center said, “We join the entire Filipino community in praying for the soul of Mr. Garcia.”
The multi-awarded actor-director suffered from a neck fracture.
To recall, he was rushed to the hospital on June 8 after an accident while shooting for ‘Rosang Agimat’, an upcoming GMA teleserye.
He was confined for a few days and remained under close observation before his demise.
His legacy and career in the showbiz industry span over 70 years.
