A young man was found dead after half of his body was seen still inside a chorizo food processor in a house at Barangay Mansaya, Lapuz, Iloilo City.
Authorities identified the victim as Jomar Junco, 18, from Laua-an town of Antique province.
Residents were stunned seeing photos of Junco ’s lower torso with his legs hanging in mid-air.
Numerous news reports claimed that half of his body was eaten by the industrial meat grinder, which drove residents to compare the accident into a horror movie.
His body was intact when workers of the funeral home removed his body from the industrial meat processor.
Investigators also found that Junco was a neophyte worker at a chorizo factory.
When one of his co-workers stepped out of the room, Junco unfortunately tried to operate the machine by himself.
Police said Junco was not grinded. He was just stuck.
Police investigators didn’t find any evidence of foul play.
