Endangered green sea turtle nests in Panglao, DENR urges public protection

A rare and encouraging discovery was made along the shores of Panglao Island after the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 7–Bohol confirmed the nesting of an endangered green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
