TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — The Roman Catholic Diocese of Tagbilaran has unveiled the episcopal coat of arms of Bishop Crispin B. Varquez, the eighth bishop of the diocese, highlighting the symbols that represent his faith, identity and pastoral mission.

The coat of arms embodies the bishop’s commitment to proclaiming the Gospel, shepherding the People of God, and leading the diocese with faith, humility and love.

The unveiling marks another significant moment in the beginning of Varquez’s episcopal ministry in Bohol as he prepares to lead the local Church in its mission of faith, hope and unity.

The diocese expressed hope that Varquez’s ministry would be guided by the Holy Spirit as he journeys with the faithful.

The unveiling was documented by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tagbilaran.
