Armed men rob gasoline station cashier of ₱7,000 in Tubigon

TUBIGON, Bohol — Police are hunting two armed suspects who robbed a gasoline station cashier of ₱7,000 in Barangay Libertad here at around 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.

The Tubigon Municipal Police Station identified the victim as alias Belle, 45, who was approached by two unidentified men riding a dark blue Yamaha Mio 125 motorcycle without a license plate.

Both suspects wore full-face helmets. The driver was wearing a white hooded jacket and white helmet, while the back rider wore a gray hooded jacket and black helmet, police said.

One of the suspects allegedly pointed a firearm of undetermined caliber at the cashier and forcibly took her bag containing ₱5,000 in personal money and ₱2,000 in gasoline station sales.

The suspects fled toward Clarin town after the robbery. They reportedly fired a shot into the air as they escaped.

Police are conducting follow-up operations to identify and locate the suspects.
