TAGBILARAN CITY—Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado maintained a “Good” net satisfaction rating of +48 in the latest HNU-Bohol Poll 2026, although results point to a gradual weakening of public support.
The survey, conducted from March 28 to April 21 and released by the Holy Name University Research Center, showed the governor enjoys a 99% awareness level across the province.
Overall, 59% of respondents said they were satisfied, 11% dissatisfied, and 30% undecided, resulting in the +48 net rating.
Support was strongest in District 2 (+59), followed by District 1 (+45) and District 3 (+42). However, District 3 also posted a relatively high 42% undecided rate, indicating mixed sentiment among voters.
In Tagbilaran City, Aumentado recorded his lowest rating at +28, with 21% dissatisfaction—the highest in the province.
By sector, the governor drew solid support from Class E respondents (+57). In terms of age groups, the highest ratings came from those aged 30–39 (+54) and 60 and above (+56).
Despite remaining within the “Good” range under Social Weather Stations (SWS) terminology—defined as +30 to +49—the data show a downward trend. Aumentado’s rating declined from +78 in 2023, +61 in 2024, and +69 in 2025, to +48 in 2026, marking a 21-point drop from last year.
The survey covered 400 respondents, with 100 each from the province’s three districts and Tagbilaran City. It carried a ±5% margin of error for Bohol, ±10% for Tagbilaran City, District 2 and District 3, and ±7% for District 1, the research center said.
