The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in partnership with Small Business Corporation (SBCorp), has rolled out a P4-billion loan facility aimed at helping micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) cope with the economic impact of the ongoing Middle East crisis.

The funding program is designed to provide accessible and timely financial assistance to Filipino entrepreneurs facing challenges in cash flow, business expansion, and supply chain disruptions.

Under the program, eligible MSMEs may borrow from P30,000 up to P20 million. Loans amounting to ₱5 million and below will not require collateral, making it easier for small business owners to access credit. Borrowers will also be given a one-year grace period, while loan applications are expected to be processed within seven to 10 days.

DTI said the initiative aims to cushion the effects of global uncertainties on local businesses, particularly those directly or indirectly affected by the crisis in the Middle East.

To qualify, applicants must be registered MSMEs in need of financial support. Required documents include a valid government-issued ID, a Mayor’s Business Permit, proof of bank account, and business photos.

Interested applicants may submit their applications online through the SBCorp portal or by downloading the SBCorp Money App. They may also visit the nearest DTI regional office or Negosyo Center for assistance.

The DTI encouraged MSMEs to take advantage of the program to sustain operations, protect jobs, and continue contributing to the country’s economic recovery.
