TAGBILARAN CITY — The St. Joseph the Worker Cathedral-Shrine held the La Procesión del Santo Entierro at 5 p.m. on April 3, Good Friday, as part of its Holy Week observance.
The solemn procession featured at least 15 religious images, including depictions of saints and key moments in the passion of Jesus Christ, culminating in the Santo Entierro.
Church groups, families, and lay organizations took charge of each image, continuing a long-standing Catholic tradition that commemorates the crucifixion and death of Christ.
Devotees joined the procession in prayer and reflection, marking one of the most significant Holy Week observances in Tagbilaran City.
