Former Valencia mayor Dr. Henrietta Lim- Gan died on Saturday.
Gan was the mayor of Valencia from 2007-2013.
She was the niece of the late former Vice Governor Concepcion Lim.
In a Facebook post, Valencia Mayor Maria Katrina Lim described Gan as the “coolest Aunt in the whole world.”
“Auntie Hen, you have always been a strong support to the family. Your strength and character has always been an inspiration to us, reminding us that we could be whoever we want ourselves to be and that we could be the BEST. (Doesn’t really matter what others think because we are always the BEST for you,” Lim said.
” You have been our second mom, our confidant, our bestfriend. With you, we can simply be who we are without pretensions. Our chikkas and laags will surely be missed,” she added.
Gov. Art Yap also condoled the family in a Facebook post.
“Her invaluable service to the people of Bohol will always be remembered. May she rest in peace,” Yap said.
