TAGBILARAN CITY—Travelers passing through Bohol–Panglao International Airport can expect improved passenger amenities as Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc. expands food, beverage, and retail offerings at the province’s main gateway.

The upgrades form part of the company’s broader initiative to enhance the overall airport experience while boosting commercial activity within its terminals.

Among the newly opened outlets at the airport are a Duty Free store, MOMENTO, NOMAD, and three NOMAD Express shops. Several of these carry locally made goods under the Department of Trade and Industry’s One Town, One Product (OTOP) program, highlighting Boholano products for both domestic and international travelers.

A UnionBank automated teller machine has also been installed at the arrival area to provide passengers with convenient access to banking services.

Aboitiz InfraCapital said the expansion is complemented by targeted refurbishments of retail and dining spaces, aimed at creating a more accessible and cohesive commercial environment inside the terminal.

The improvements at the Bohol airport are part of a larger modernization program being rolled out by the company beginning 2025, following multi-year concession agreements awarded by the national government in 2024.

The initiative seeks to strengthen connectivity, support tourism growth, and stimulate economic activity in Bohol by improving the movement of passengers and goods through the province’s primary air gateway.
