TAGBILARAN CITY — The family of Elborn Blazo, a 38-year-old LGBTQ+ member and Barangay Mayacabac maintenance worker, is demanding justice after he was found dead with multiple stab wounds in Mansasa, near Bolok-bolok Spring, in Tagbilaran City on Monday, Feb. 1.

Blazo went missing on the night of February 2 after informing his family that he would be stepping out.

His body was later discovered, showing signs of a violent struggle, including seven stab wounds to the chest and injuries to the head, back, and hands. Authorities said the victim likely tried to defend himself.

The suspect also reportedly took Blazo’s gray TVS scooter and cash. Police are continuing their investigation and have requested information regarding the scooter’s plate number, but the family said they do not have it, as the motorcycle was purchased through Facebook Marketplace.

Through his brother, Marjon Blazo, the family is appealing for immediate action from law enforcement to catch those responsible for the heinous crime.
