PILAR, Bohol — Governor Aris Aumentado on January 25 led the turnover of P5 million worth of infrastructure projects in the town of Pilar, highlighting the provincial government’s continued support for grassroots development.
Funded through the provincial government’s assistance to municipalities, the projects include four Solar Drier Projects with multipurpose pavements, each worth P500,000, located in the barangays of Cansungay, Inaghuban, Lundag, and Bagacay.
These facilities are expected to help farmers and local producers improve post-harvest processing and protect agricultural products from weather-related losses.
Also turned over was a P3-million Multipurpose Center in Purok 6, Sitio Malinao, Poblacion, Pilar, which will serve as a venue for community activities, meetings, and other social and economic programs.
Aumentado led the ribbon-cutting ceremonies at each project site, followed by a program held at the newly completed Multipurpose Center.
Local officials and residents welcomed the projects, expressing optimism that these will enhance livelihood opportunities and improve public services in their communities.
