TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — The world’s largest coffeehouse chain, Starbucks, is set to open its first branch in Bohol, marking a major milestone for coffee lovers in the province.

Mayor Jane Yap confirmed the development on Friday after sharing the building blueprint of the upcoming store on social media.

The café will rise along Carlos P. Garcia (CPG) Avenue, at the corner of Gov. Jacinto Borja Street in Barangay Poblacion 2, one of the city’s busiest commercial areas.

According to a source, the Tagbilaran branch will feature an environment-friendly design, incorporating recycled materials and sustainable construction practices.

The one-story Starbucks store will offer Wi-Fi connectivity and other modern amenities, providing a comfortable space for both locals and tourists.

Starbucks reportedly chose Tagbilaran City for its first Bohol branch because of its strategic position as the province’s capital and its increasing tourist arrivals, which have boosted the city’s reputation as a growing urban hub in Central Visayas.
