Former Bohol Gov. Arthur Yap has been appointed as the provincial chairperson of the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC).
The appointment was signed by Mark Llandro Mendoza, NPC’s secretary general.
With his new role as the provincial chairperson of NPC, Yap will oversee the party’s activities and undertakings in the province of Bohol.
NPC is a conservative political party in the Philippines which was founded in 1992 by presidential candidate Danding Cojuangco.
Former Sen. Tito Sotto is the chairman of the NPC.
On Thursday, Yap was seen in Carmen town for a talk with farmers on yield increase program.
