Barangay Bil-isan has emerged champion in the 39th Hudyaka sa Panglao 2024 held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
Bil-isan also garnered the most awards- champion Street Dancing Competition, champion Ritual Competition, Best in Costume, Best in Musicality and Best in Choreography.
Barangay Tangnan bagged the second place, while Barangay Libaong placed third.
There were 10 contingents for this year’s Hudyaka.
Mayor Boy Arcay expressed his gratitude to all participants of the event.
He said he could not wait for next year’s Hudyaka, which has been dubbed as the oldest festival in Bohol.
Anthony Ceniza, the town’s culture and arts officer, said that the Hudyaka sa Panglao was also a tourism come-on.
Panglao is a popular destination in the country.
