The town of Lila celebrated its 156th Charter Anniversary last Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, marking over a decade of unity and exponential growth.
The day kicked off with a civic parade that showcased the various clusters and sectors of the town.
Mayor Jed Piollo, Vice Mayor Regina Salazar and councilors led the program at the church plaza.
Piollo said his heart was full of gratitude for celebrating the town’s milestone.
The week-long celebration highlighted agri-fair, sports events, free services and trainings to engage the community and provide opportunities for growth and development.
Lila, an agriculture based municipality, is known for its rice terraces and whale sharks.
