Jojie’s Bakeshop on Wednesday, July 10, received the award as Top 3 finalist of the 2024 Presidential Awards for Outstanding Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Arnold Labunog and Maria Carmen-Labunog received the award.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led the 2024 Presidential Awards for Outstanding MSMEs and Presidential Recognition for Outstanding Development Partners at the Ceremonial Hall in Malacañan Palace.
The finalists were Island Group Winners, representing diverse regions across the country—(1) Northern Luzon: HeySuccess Virtual Assistance Services; (2) Southern Luzon: Ai-She Footwear and Tropical Palm Herb Manufacturing; (3) Visayas: Jojie’s Bakeshop and Kawayan Collective Agricultural Cooperative; and (4) Mindanao: Nelly Coffee and Tablea and Malagos Agri-Ventures Corporation.

Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the MSME Development Council, the awards aim to celebrate exceptional MSMEs for their excellence, innovation and sustainability, as well as their vital role in the economy.
The event also included the 2024 Presidential Recognition for Outstanding Development Partners, honoring five (5) individuals for their impactful programs that enhance business climate and support MSME growth.
They were recognized for their contributions to improving the business environment, access to finance, markets, technology and innovation, and enhancing management and labor capacities.
Under the Magna Carta for MSMEs (Republic Act No. 9501), the awardees received trophies, plaques and cash prizes from Go Negosyo.
