All set for Saulog Festival King and Queen 2024

The City Government of Tagbilaran is eagerly preparing for the highly anticipated Saulog Festival King and Queen competition on April 23, 2024, at the Bohol Wisdom School Gymnasium. 

Representing their respective barangays, 15 pairs of contestants are set to grace the stage, each embodying the unique essence and charm. 

Among the contenders are Ver Arnel Orlasan and Ella Valerie Capayas of Bool, Joel Pedregosa and Ma. Nicollete Umpad of Booy, John Ihalas and Ma. Francis Mae Halasan of Cabawan, Michel Andre Amper and Carla Allyssa Enerlan of Cogon, Dahl Grant Cabagnot and Mary Grace Belle Reyes of Dampas, Klent Olever Logroño and Jannah Angelica Pilayre of Dao, Jeyrald Paquera and Zineth Iquico of Manga, Reno Delambaca and Iyolanda Cabagnot of Mansasa, Joshua Luzon and Charlotte Pacina of Poblacion 1.

Drigo Bernard Palomares and Ma. Alael Oslay of Poblacion 2, Jomel Pocot and Niza Mae Dela Rosa of Poblacion 3, Pejie Codilla and Kharen Maphe Cereligia of San Isidro, John Loyd Gumba and Glyza Maris Calamba of Taloto, Joseph Noel Capin and Angel Faith Garcia of Tiptip, and Rico Varquez and Bhea Minion of Ubujan. 

These individuals, meticulously selected to represent their communities, are poised to captivate the audience with their grace, charisma, and cultural knowledge.

Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap expressed her enthusiasm for the event, highlighting its significance in showcasing the diverse talents and cultural heritage of Tagbilaran. 

“The Festival King and Queen competition is not just a showcase of beauty and talent but also an opportunity to celebrate our city’s rich history and vibrant culture,” Mayor Yap remarked.

The Saulog Festival King and Queen competition has consistently attracted large crowds over the years, with barangays demonstrating enthusiastic audience support. 

Beyond the glittering stage and dazzling performances, the Festival King and Queen competition also serves as a platform to promote local tourism sites, culinary delights, and entrepreneurial ventures across the city’s barangays.
