The provincial government of Bohol, through the Center for Culture and Arts Development, organized the “Sabay DanceSport Workshop and Coaches Accreditation” at the DPWH Gymnasium in Tagbilaran City on March 3.
The event was led by the Bohol Arts and Cultural Heritage Council-Dance Committee, in collaboration with the Bohol Association of Dance Instructors, the Philippine DanceSport Federation (PDSF), and the Department of Education.
Attended by elementary to high school dancers from across Bohol, the workshop aimed to foster talent development and coaching expertise in dancesport.
The program’s significance in providing a platform for Bohol’s dancers to excel not only regionally but also on national and international stages.
With guest speakers Crisaldo Rendon and Lowell Bernados offering their expertise, the workshop served as a crucial step towards propelling Bohol’s dance community onto the global stage and nurturing a culture of excellence and perseverance among its participants. (PIMO/ML)
