The provincial government of Bohol will remain supportive of the programs of the Department of Education (DepEd).
This was the message of Gov. Aris Aumentado during the installation of Dr. Casiana Caberte as officer-in-charge schools division superintendent of DepEd- Bohol on Feb. 5.
Aumentado said that under his leadership, the provincial government is intent and committed to the task of making sure the whole system of the quality education is impactful to the community.
This is pursued through the programming of an education budget that addresses the needs identified by DepEd under a collaborative setup in the local school board.
Caberte is taking the helm of DepEd Bohol along with Dr. Eduardo Ompad and Dr. Fay Luarez, incoming assistant schools division superintendents.
Dr. Salustiano Jimenez graced the installation of Caberte held at the Division Executive Conference as well as the turnover of the Division Education Development Plan.
The program concluded with remarks from Dr. Marcelina Bautista, DepEd Bohol school governance operation division chief.
School division officials from Dumaguete, Cebu Province and Toledo City, partners, stakeholders and guests were also present during the program. (PIMO/RJG/LMS)
