A South Korean tourist was found dead in a swimming pool at a resort in Panglao town, Bohol on Monday night, Nov. 13.
Yongjun Cho, 39, was found at the bottom of the swimming pool of Espacio Resort by a certain Ryme Villanueva, a resort staff at around 6:30 p. m.
Initial investigation by Panglao Police revealed that the victim together with his wife Kim Kyoung and their two children were bonding at the swimming pool area.
Accordingly the victim sipped some liquor beverage before he doved for a swim but failed to float back for few minutes which prompted his wife to check for him.
The wife together with the resort staff tried to rescue/revive the victim but unfortunately he was declared dead by Panglao municipal health officer,
Dr. Jon Mark Verga who arrived at the area.
Still, the wife decided to bring her husband to Gov. Celestino Gallares Medical Memorial Hospital, Tagbilaran City for medical treatment.
