BILAR- Gov. Aris Aumentado turned over a newly-completed covered court here in Barangay Yanaya in ceremonies witnessed by students, faculty, parents and guests.
The governor presided over the ceremony at the Bilar National High School last Oct. 20.
Built at a cost of P6 million, the funding for the project was sourced from the Special Education Fund.
Aumentado recalled that the project was started by the previous administration.
The governor admitted he would not have continued it if it was not in line with his development plan but proceeded with it knowing the people of Bilar were looking forward to it.
Because of this, the governor said he was determined to complete the project, noting that this was aligned with his carefully constructed development plan.
Present during the ceremony were Bilar Mayor Norman Palacio, BNHS School Principal Felicidad Alipe and PSDS Ma. Lileth Calasat, PTA President Gregorio Petalcorin, Provincial Engineer Camilo Gasatan, and former principal Marlon Jala.
The induction ceremony was held simultaneously for parents chosen as officers in the school association. (PIMO/ALT/JSS)
