Authorities have arrested four individuals in Barangay Danao in Panglao town, Bohol for yielding an undocumented firearms and ammunition and suspected crystal meth or “shabu” during a buy-bust operation.
In a report issued Thursday, the Bohol Police Provincial Office said the operation, which was conducted by the operatives of
Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU)
in a house at Barangay Danao on Thursday morning, Oct. 19, led to the arrest and identification of suspects Rejie Toribio Abundo and his cohort identified as Christian Manayaga. Their associates Bridget Rose Olaivar,Princess Vanna Tutor Cutaran were also arrested. Two minors were rescued during the operation.
The arrested inviduals were high value individuals and suspected emmerging gun-for-hire personalities.
Aside from the confiscated shabu worth P374, 000, athorities also recovered were two firearms described as caliber .9mm pistol loaded with 9 pieces live ammunitions and one unit KG 9 sub machine gun loaded with 19 pieces live ammunitions.
Police said the suspects were involved in some drug-related shooting incidents and they were hired to sow violence this coming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.
