A multiple waterspouts—known locally as “ipo-ipo”—were spotted in the coast of Garcia Hernandez town Thursday, Sept. 7.
Residents captured at least four waterspouts at around 7 a. m.
Others went live on Facebook to record the weather phenomenon.
Residents said the watersprouts quickly dissipated after two hours.
Waterspouts are uncommon but well-known phenomena, especially among fishermen and coastal residents.
