A snake was responsible for a power outage Thursday, June 1, in several towns of Bohol.
Personnel at the Corella Substation of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) found the snake at the switchyard, according to a Facebook post from NGCP.
The outage occured in Loon, Maribojoc, Cortes, Antequera , Corella and Sikatuna towns at 8:34 a. m. Almost all of those outages were concentrated in the towns
served by distribution utility BOHECO 1.
NGCP said as of 9:30 a. m., restored power transmission services in part of Bohol.
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this will bring you. We request your patience and understanding on this matter as THIS IS BEYOND OUR CONTROL,” the NGCP said in a statement.
