Authorities arrested a notorious drug courier and seized some P7-million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Panglao town in Bohol province .
Major Andie Corpus, chief of Panglao Police Station, identified the suspect as Matt Darnel Gablines Abuyabor, a resident of Poblacion 1 in Tagbilaran City, who was arrested at Barangay Tangnan in Panglao town on Sunday night.
Abuyabor yielded around one kilogram of shabu, buy-bust money, boxes and one cellular phone.
Initial investigation showed that the suspect operates in Tagbilaran, Dauis and some towns.
Abuyabor declined to be interviewed.
Panglao Mayor Boy Arcay personally witnessed the inventory and praised Corpus and his men for a job well done.
The suspect will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
