The Telephone and Radio System Integrated Emergency Response 117 (TaRSIER117) on its 12th anniversary opened its Candijay Substation on Friday, March 24.

Gov. Aris Aumentado, provincial Aladministrator Asteria Caberte, Candijay Mayor Thamar Olaivar, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (PDRRMO) Anthony Damalerio led the ribbon cutting rites together with Candijay Community Hospital chief Dr. Alex Sumera, Provincial Health Office’s Dr. Emerson Mateo, TaRSIER head of operations and warning division Jose Requeron and PDRRMO administrative officer Ryan Palma.

Rev. Fr. Chito Lozada officiated the blessing of the substation that is located in Candijay Community Hospital compound.

The substation opens with a 25-personnel complement – including medics, communicators, driver, and administrative staff; communication equipment and internet connectivity; and basic life support-capable ambulance.

Earlier, PDRRMO celebrated a Holy Mass and held a motorcade to celebrate 12 years of service to the Boholanos.
