Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. had his first command visit at the Bohol Provincial Police Office on Friday, March 3.
Azurin and his party were warmly welcomed by Provincial Director Police Colonel Lorenzo Batuan and Police Brigadier General Jerry Bearis, director of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7).
The PNP Chief expressed his appreciation to Batuan and the rest of the Police Force for their efforts in maintaining peace and order in the province.
“Your presence in the community has been felt consistently by the citizens of Bohol not only thru various reports and real time social media posting. Each of you is vigilant, responsible and responsive to the needs and concerns of your areas,” said Azurin.
Auzirin called for continued good relationship between and among the police and the community to sustain the peace and order situation in Bohol.
“Dumarami ang mga turista sa Bohol. Ibig sabihin maganda ang perception ng taong bayan at international community sa Bohol,” he said.
