Authorities have arrested four drug suspects as they dismantled a drug den and seized some P82,000 worth of illegal drugs in anti-drug operations on Wednesday night, Feb. 22.
Arrested were live-in partners Alberto Gomez (subject of the operation and drug den maintainer), 56, electrician, and Evangeline Infanso (conspirator) 42, massage therapist.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said the buy-bust operation took place at Purok 7, Barangay Bool, Tagbilaran City.
Also apprehended were 2 drug den visitors identified as Archie Amasura, 18, laborer, and Junrel Vailoces, 19, fish vendor.
Confiscated during the operation were eight packs of suspected shabu weighing around 12 grams with an estimated market value of P81,600, buy-bust money, cash in different denominations believed to be proceeds of illegal drug transactions, one cellular phone, and various drug paraphernalia.
The pieces of drug evidence have been submitted for chemical analysis.
Cases for violation of Article II of RA 9165 will be filed against the suspects.
