Two residential houses were gutted in a fire incident in Barangay Mansasa in Tagbilaran City on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 12.
According to Mayor Jane Yap, there were six families affected after the fire broke in the area.
She said in the incident two houses were completely gutted. There was no injured person or casualty reported.
The city government gave rice, food and clothes to the victims.
The possible cause of the fire was that a child was playing with a lighter.
“But we do not have an official result as of now because the investigation of our BFP (Bureau of Fire Protection) is still ongoing,” said Yap. With a report from Helen Castano
