The body of a newborn baby was found in the seashore in Purok 1 in Barangay Poblacion in Dauis town on Friday, Jan. 27.
The baby was around two days, according to Dauis police.
The Dauis Emergency Rescue Unit immediately responded to the area.
The baby was possibly thrown into the sea. The baby’s umbilical cord was still attached to its body.
Authorities are investigating the case.
