A 59-year-old man died after he was swept away by floodwaters triggered by a low pressure area and shear line in Dagohoy town Saturday morning, Jan. 14.

In a Facebook post, Mayor Hermie Relampagos said the body of Catalino Reponte was found around 11 a.m. in a creek in Purok Cabatuan.

Reponte went missing for three days after swept away by the strong current last Wednesday due to incessant rains.
